Amazon Q

Amazon Q faced a perception gap: many people understood AI as a personal assistant or novelty tool, while Q was built for serious business impact inside complex organizations. The challenge was to reframe how developers and teams saw it—shifting the narrative from “AI helper” to a powerful partner designed to remove friction, modernize workflows, and unlock meaningful progress at work.

As Creative Director partnering with Instrument, I helped define the campaign platform Built for Breakthroughs to express this idea in a clear, human way. We translated Q’s technical strengths into a relatable story about reducing repetitive tasks, accelerating problem-solving, and giving teams the freedom to focus on creativity and innovation—positioning Amazon Q not as a feature set, but as a catalyst for better thinking and better work.

This platform became the strategic and creative foundation for how Amazon Q could speak to multiple audiences across contexts. Working across strategy, art direction, and copy, we built a flexible narrative system that connected product capability to real developer pressure and business challenges, establishing a distinct, ownable voice for the brand moving forward.
